Sweet Bee Caffe in the Center for the Arts, Pittsboro is a great place for local associations and organizations to hold meetings for up to 20 at no charge. Center for the Arts is the perfect location for your Corporate Event, Class, Fundraiser, Company or Private Party, or Concert.
We are located in the heart of downtown Pittsboro, NC at 18A East Salisbury Street.

Alcohol is welcome so long as NC-ABC and local laws and ordinances are met.
We have a Stage, High-end Sound System, A/V Technician, Very Nice Big Restrooms, Catering/Food Prep Area, Video Projector, Large Screen and Staff to give you the BEST Experience.
The total capacity of entire facility is 124.
We have 2 “event areas.” Both are included when you rent the entire facility.
Large Event Area -
Sweet Bee Theater is an open slate.
We can set up for your event completely personalized for your style.
This area can handle table seating up to 72, standing room up to 104 and movie/play/performance seating up to 90 depending on stage size.

Music/Audio Recording Room
Our sound-engineered Music/Audio Recording room is available to rent for $10 per hour.
2 electronic pianos are included in the rental price.
This room is not included with and may be used by others during rentals of front room or back theater room.
Capacity of the Music/Audio Recording room is 4 persons.

Music/Audio Recording room rents for $10 per hour. Available hours are limited. Please inquire about schedule.
Theater and front room are rented at the the same price/deposit/terms as follows.
Minimum room rental charge is $90 (3 hrs. at $30 each or less with regular/multi-use discount)
3 hour minimum - additional hours or parts thereof are $30 each
Full-day 1 room rentals are $300 (8am - Midnight or other times as agreed)
$90 security/cleaning deposit due with reservation (Deposit will be refunded if room, furnishings and equipment are left in same, good, clean condition as provided).
Basic room rentals include tables and chairs on hand (first come first served).
The sky is the limit for those who want a custom configuration of space(s).
Catering, A/V equipment, custom furnishings, deluxe lighting, decorations, wait staff, etc. available at extra cost. Please inquire.
All theater rentals based on availability when reservation is made.

Rental of space(s) at the Center for the Arts includes the use of existing tables and chairs.
...Tables: 10 each, 2'x4' with 4 height adjustments
...Chairs: 65 each, padded burgundy Banquet Chairs, 20+ folding metal chairs of various colors, 12 each stools of various heights
Renter must set up tables and chairs and return them to beginning placement during their rental time.
You can have alcohol on the premises but you must abide by NC-ABC and local laws and ordinances and take full responsibility for all eventualities.
We will be happy to provide a list of qualified caterers.
The Center for the Arts must approve the caterer you use for your event.
Renter is responsible for cleaning up the facility to its beginning state within rented time.
Trash cans in the space must be emptied in barrels marked "Pittsboro Youth Theater" in alley.
Paint, food and goo wash up area is in the kitchen sink area only; NO WASHING ANYTHING BUT HANDS IN RESTROOMS!!!
Our catering/food prep area with a linoleum tile floor, sink and formica counter top is between the 2 rooms; we do not have a full kitchen on-site.
Catering/food prep area and restrooms are shared by both front and back rooms unless entire facility is rented.
A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required to reserve your event date(s) and the remaining balance is due at least at the beginning of the event.
We have state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and services available for an additional charge including a large HD video screen, theatrical lighting, concert audio system with microphones, etc.; the sky is the limit.

Sales tax will be added to prices of rented equipment.
Base Audio System: multi-channel mixer, Audio amplifier, basic cords and connectors and 2-channel speaker system ...all connected and operational - $15
...Base price reflects basic or better equipment as currently installed at time of rental. Extensive upgrades and options available at adn'l. cost)
Video Projector (HD) - $45
Hand held vocal mic, stand, cable - $20
Video Screen (9'x12'). Permanently installed on back of stage, generally no charge, add $20 per hour, if existing sets must be removed to reveal screen.
Complete professional A/V equipment and services available - Inquire
